What time is check–in?
All players will be checking in on Sunday, December 17, 2006. If you fly to Jackson, you will check-in directly from the airport, if you drive to Jackson, you are required to check-in by 3:00 p.m.

Can I extend my stay or come before Sunday?
Your room is paid for from Sunday, December 17-Saturday, December 23, 2006. Be aware that you must pay for your room on a per day basis if you arrive before Sunday, December 17th and stay beyond Saturday, December 23rd.

What are my hotel accommodations like?
The Regency Hotel is located in the heart of the Capital City of Jackson, Mississippi, where southern hospitality is not only a tradition, but a way of life. The hotel is directly opposite the Mississippi Coliseum, Trade Mart and Equine Center. Within a few minutes drive, you will find downtown Jackson, home to the State and Federal Government, Association Headquarters, The Museum of Art, The Davis Planetarium, The City Auditorium, The Old Capitol Museum, The New State Capitol, The Governor's Mansion, the Jackson City Hall, and three major Medical Centers. Each player will room with one other Magnolia Grid Iron Classic player. Your room will have two queen beds, cable television w/Showtime, hair dryer, full sized iron and ironing board, coffee maker and broadband internet connection. Are meals provided during my stay?
All meals are provided during your stay from Sunday, December 17- Saturday, December 23.

What is my available mode of transportation while in Jackson?
The Magnolia Grid Iron Classic provides all necessary transportation during your week in Jackson. No family members are allowed on the team buses. Please call Enterprise Rent-A-Car to make their ground transportation reservations.

Where are practices held?
Practices will be held daily at Millsap’s College. You will receive a practice schedule upon check-in when you arrive in Jackson, Mississippi. It will contain specific practice times and laundering arrangements. You also received a list of what you need to wear & what you are responsible to bring. Please refer to it to assure you have everything you need.

What is included in the combine workout?
The 40-yard dash, 3-cone and the short shuttle are included in the combine workout. The surface is turf, so make sure you bring the proper cleats.

Do I have to participate in the combine workout?
We cannot make you participate, but if you have not received an invite to the NFL combine than it is in your best interest to take advantage of this opportunity to workout for all of the NFL personnel in attendance.

Am I responsible for booking my own travel?
The Magnolia Grid Iron Classic will make all of the needed flight arrangements.

Do I have to pay for my flight?
The Magnolia Grid Iron Classic pays for all airline travel.

Are any of my spouses or families expenses covered?
The Magnolia Grid Iron Classic is happy to provide for players expenses but we are unable to cover spouses or family travel. Spouses are ONLY welcome to stay in the hotel room with you if you are covering the hotel cost per night. If a spouse will be sharing a room with you, we must know in advance.

 When/how will I receive my airline ticket?
You will receive you airline ticket confirmation via e-mail. Please BE SURE that we have a current
 e-mail address that you may access in order to print your e-ticket confirmation. You will then take the confirmation with you to the airport, show them your valid driver’s license/ID upon check-in and they will give you your airline ticket.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
A Magnolia Grid Iron Classic staff member will meet you at baggage claim. Look for a staff member holding a bright Magnolia Grid Iron Classic sign. They will also be looking for you.

What if I am driving into Jackson?
In the event you drive into Jackson, the Magnolia Grid Iron Classic will pay you a mileage allowance upon your arrival. (Example: 15 cents per mile driven) This rate will be set as we get closer to the actual event and all those that drive will receive the same rate. You will be notified before hand what the rate will be. Any needed car maintenance is your responsibility.
